Dentistry opens up a world of professional opportunities. As a career, it is quite challenging and rewarding. The institution is affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences and is one of the flagship institutions of leading educational group : VELS Education trust. MIDS offers a five year undergraduate programme including one year internship and a three years post graduate programme. The courses offered adhere to the norms of Dental Council Of India.

Since its inception, above two decade we are providing standard and disciplined education to make the institution an excellent model providing emergency and multidisciplinary comprehensive oral health care, directing health promotion, disease prevention activities and using advanced treatment modalities. Our OPDs have high number of patients. we ensure that the students receive dental education by adopting evolving technologies in dental informatics to enrich the learning experience. The students are encouraged to attend various workshops, Continuing Dental Education (CDE) programmes , conferences to inculcate relevant practical skills for a smooth transition from academics to practitioners in a real life environment. Apart from setting enviable standards in delivering institutional oral health services, we devote good amount of time, energy and resources in conducting oral health services to those communities who cannot avail the services. Caring for the less fortunate not only gives assistance to vulnerable clinical experiences and inspires a lasting dedication to service.

We Strongly believe that sports in Students life are not only essential for a healthy body and mind but also go a long way in building a strong character and right foundation in one’s life. Alongside with the annual sports meet, which is conducted in a very grandeur way every year, it has all leading sports facilities and infrastructure along with the right competitive environment which is necessary to survive in today’s globalised environment. The deluge of cultural activities organized gives an insight of the diverse potential in every student making victory, their culture and humility, their pride.

The alumni are one way to see the legacy of an educational institute. Our alma mater has established an alumni association and is actively organizing get togethers in order to remain engaged that can be extended for mutual benefit. With each successful alumnus over a period of time, we inspire, entertain, lead and improve our ex students who have shone like stars in their chosen fields.

The institute recognizes the need to educate the students not just about the curriculum but also about what lies ahead in the future. Our approach involves working with parents to help the students break their inhibitions and develop a constructive mindset.
